Trauma Transformation

Take the short path to heal your trauma and to recover from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder– military or other), acute or chronic stress disorder, psychological trauma from violence, physical abuse/assault, sexual abuse/assault, psycho-emotional abuse, bullying, early-childhood environment, neglect, abandonment, accidents and disasters, medical procedures, grief, survivor’s guilt, family issues, loss of control, epigenetics, and just LIFE!

What is trauma?

You can find many definitions, but my view is that trauma is anything that prevents us from living life fully in the present. Whether it’s a big T or a little t, the path to healing trauma is the same.

Believe it or not, there is no pain so big that it can’t be transformed. Just being human means you probably have encountered some trauma.

Trauma takes the past and lays it over the present, so we keep repeating the same patterns over and over again. That is, until we heal. Our pain will keep seeking out experiences which will allow it to heal. But unless we know that, we tend to just retraumatize ourselves, which can lead to self blame and even feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness.

Whether you witnessed a massive and overwhelming event one time, experienced repeated abuses over years, lived through low grade stressful situations, or whether you don’t even know why you can’t relate fully to the world anymore, it doesn’t really matter the cause.

What matters is that you need help getting back to your whole center, your true north, the part of you which is not and cannot be damaged. From THAT place you can re-pattern and heal the trauma wounds.

Take a look at the page about overcoming overwhelming emotions like anger, grief and fear here. In addition to experiencing strong negative emotions, trauma can lead to numbness– even to an inability to feel emotions at all, which is a natural protective mechanism to prevent overwhelm by painful feelings.

Other trauma survivors might experience disassociation, which is a type of ‘checking out’ so that they sometimes, or often, feel like they don’t really exist or aren’t really here.

Another side effect of trauma can be chronic, and even unexplainable, pain. I have had clients report the amazing relief of chronic back and neck pain after just one session of releasing emotional blocks. In other cases it takes a bit longer to reconnect to parts of ourselves that we ‘turned off’ long ago.

With the right guidance, in a safe environment, you can gently, and at your own pace, unwind the old pain and trauma. You don’t even have to tell me your whole life history. We can just work right here and now with what is going on in your life.

And by learning the 5 Laws, Steps, and Skills, you can efficiently return to your True Self and heal the old trauma that has been preventing you from living your best life.

Just like the body has natural mechanisms to heal, the psyche does too. The problem is we don’t have a way to put a band-aid or a cast on the mind or feelings, and no one taught us how to heal the pain we feel inside that has no physical cause. So, all too often, instead of guiding ourselves back to wholeness, we mistakenly retraumatize ourselves by living in a pain cycle, in a negative downward spiral.

All it takes is learning the way to transform that mental and emotional pain. It truly is simple, though I won’t say it is always easy.

But with a little courage, with the desire to end the suffering, with the curiosity to understand and discover the truth– which is that you are not and can never be broken– and with lot of support (from me), you WILL return to your true center. And then you will know how to do it over and over again, until you find yourself living on a new, grounded, solid, secure foundation.

My training for transforming trauma is specifically in, what I call, Emotional Energy Reset. I have done the deep work myself, and with many others, and I know that it works. It is truly transformative. I have seen those from painful, abusive childhoods discover a new freedom in a few short months. I can’t tell you exactly what your experience will be, but I KNOW it can change your life.

You may have had horrible experiences– or maybe you aren’t even sure exactly what happened to you– you may have a diagnosis– you may override your feelings and downplay the pain– or maybe you can barely get out of bed and face another day— regardless, all that matters is YOU finding your way back to YOU. When you rediscover the courage to be your Self, then your whole life will ‘fall into place’. And I’m here to help.
